Marvin Culbreth,
1955
The tile
specified for this bathroom by the noted designer
and consultant Marvin Culbreth is made of
Weirzin, the electro- lytically zinc-coated steel
that resists heat, moisture, rust — forms a lasting
bond with its finish. And, whisks clean in seconds.
While steel
wall tile may have fallen by the wayside (or all
over the bathroom floor), Weirton
still makes Weirzin, in galvanized sheets for
exterior doors and a variety of residential
hardware. Marvin Culbreth died in 1998. |
